I install and configure the Armory Enterprise continuous deployment platform to fit customer’s continuous integration goals into software capabilities. I am highly responsible for complete customer satisfaction and developer ease. One of my fortes was to expand my role by creating internal automation links to support tickets based on customer and Armory personnel needs. I always ensured accurate, updated, and cross-referenced links to improve work effectiveness and efficiency. In my time at Armory, I was the go-to solutions architect with their largest client, helping with unique tooling. I upgraded the product without involving Armory engineering through plug-ins, and guided customers to build internal solutions to align with current client system customizations. I easily created quality documentation on how to connect Spinnaker to Vault during an open-source Spinnaker Summit, allowing the company and customers to have dynamic accounts to avoid restarts of Spinnaker when adding a new account which streamlined the process of adding new accounts.

Here I was part of an internal group that was formed to provide continuous deployment. I enjoyed supporting all engineers in best practices and transitioning from waterfall-based project methodology to AGILE, and dev ops deployment and project management. This brought consistency, efficiency and streamlined work approaches.I also led the effort to create an Enterprise Application Registry to be continuously and automatically updated. I created an enterprise IDE license server to better utilize licenses purchased by individual teams and save tens of thousands of dollars. With a teammate, I co-led the effort to bring Spinnaker to The Home Depot by building an automation utility called Spingo, designed to help any company create an enterprise-grade Spinnaker platform on GCP in a matter of minutes, creating a way for having automated pipelines for entire organizations and centralizing deployments into the continuous deployment platform. One of my major achievements was demonstrating the ultimate value of going to Cloud Resources and centralizing data which ensured the following of company policies, procedures, and gave guidance with data management.

In this role, I was in charge of the master data API and created a place for all the other organizations across The Home Depot to access merchandising data such as SKUs and vendor information. I also spearheaded development teams and the building out of continuous integration infrastructure and was known for creating quick, streamlined, problem-free deployments. I was the SME for the cloud foundry ecosystem. I led the development effort to create an enterprise-scale merchandising microservice infrastructure utilizing 12-factor methodologies, Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Concourse CI.

Brought the single page application RESTful architecture to a JSP development shop utilizing AngularJS and the node.js/grunt development environment for front-end developers. Lead UX designer for an internal application built to replace the currently utilized paper forms for on-boarding merchant customers in the EU and the US. Worked with phonegap to make multiple web applications native capable across Android and iOS devices.

Full stack Java/HTML developer writing Java web-services with SQL back-end calls and UI designer with a focus on UX.

Created a Java Excel library for creating exceptionally large Excel sheets using XML and temp files instead of the standard object creation within Apache POI which can have a memory cost of 10x the size of the file created. Created one of the first HTML/JQuery production applications at THD and pioneered new frameworks for HTML applications like AngularJS.

Learned Adobe Flex and became one of the top Flex developers at The Home Depot. Designed one of the first Flex applications at the company and oversaw a team of 10+ developers in its development implementation.

Designed and developed proofs of concept MS Access databases and then helped our IT partners productionalize the application.

Designed and developed automation scripts and MS Access databases to help run the Merchandising Services Team. Created tools to auto research requests for MST members and auto cancellation services for store requests that were unable to be processed nearing 80% of all requests.

First level phone support for Cribmaster Tool Crib software as well as custom crystal report design for several customers.
