I am honored to have been asked to take on this challenging interim position at Portland Parks & Recreation, City Of Portland, Oregon.I was selected to temporarily backfill the MicroMain Administration and Admin Supervisor duties. I am temporarily stationed at Parks Mount Tabor Yard office since Thursday, November 07, 2013. I already work closely with the Tabor Yard admin team on a regular basis as they coordinate to complete the monthly IA billings and such. This means that I ws already familiar with type of work they track and bill in our work order system (MicroMain). Additionally, I have been a longtime member of the MicroMain steering committee, providing feedback on various improvement initiatives. My goal is to bring my strengths to this role as Admin Supervisor. It seems to be a natural fit and I am enjoying the new challenges this position brings!

Starting May 26th, I move from the Accounting office within the City's Office of Management and Finance to the Finance Group within the Bureau of Parks, Recreation and Culture!

Hired as a contractor temporary employee in July 2001, hired Nov 2001 City temporary employee and shortly thereafter as a permanent Accountant 1 for Technical Accounting group within the Accounting Division in the Office Of Management and Finance. Late 2002/early 2003 moved to Bureau of Housing and Community Development due to budget availability for my position. Approximately 6 months later I applied and came back to Accounting Division (Quality Assurance Group) as an Accountant II. Approximately 2005/2006 I was given the position of Interim Asst Systems Accountant. Early 2008 I received the appointment as permanent.
