CURRENT/MOST RECENT:Senior Software Engineer working on the frontend at Living Security.PAST:1) Frontend Team Lead at OutboundEngine in Austin, Texas. My daily focus is spread out across 3 frontend products we provide to clients. These products are built with a variety of frontend tools, libraries, and frameworks such as React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML Emails, and CSS among others. Additional time is spent planning, researching, meeting with stakeholders, and mentoring team members. I enjoy every aspect of these responsibilities and learning new technologies that will best help us complete a given task when needed. 2) Frontend Developer/UI Engineer at Charles Schwab in Austin, Texas. I worked in the Creative Center agency and providing front end development on high turnover projects such as landing pages, emails, and micro-sites. This was my second stint at Schwab, but within a different part of the company.3) Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Austin, Texas. I worked on lots of different applications that use anything from C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, MSSQL Server, MongoDB, or pretty much whatever the project needs. It's nice that if I don't know a particular language, library, or framework, that I have the opportunity to start learning it in my spare time leading up to the start of the project. Agile and Waterfall methodologies are used as it varies from one project to the next. 4) Web Developer at Charles Schwab via Randstad Technologies. I worked on creating an entirely new feature for clients that used the schwab.com website for their financial needs. Agile methodologies were strictly adhered to stay inline with our rigorous release schedule. I mostly worked on the frontend using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Handle Bars, and an internally developed JavaScript Framework used throughout the company on several projects. Occasionally I would have to dive into the backend .NET/C# code, which was my first experience with .NET and C#, but the frontend is where I really preferred to work. 5) Web Developer at The New Office in Austin, Texas. Mainly responsible for implementing new features and fixing bugs on a very large procurement system for the State of Texas.
