In this role, I taught ten different sections of Adolescent Health Issues, or health education. I planned curriculum and created lessons based off of state and national health education standards. I used Google Classroom and Google Suite to track student progress and data. I built many strong relationships with my students and other faculty during this time. In this class, students learn about their own personal physical, social and mental health and how to access different resources that will aid them. They also learn about using these resources to help others and we guide them to becoming well rounded, accepting young adults.

I care for children ages 9-11 with two different families. In the summer months, I am responsible for finding active and fun activities, transportation, water supervision, cooking meals and ensuring their safety. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I am responsible for their remote learning, making sure the work is completed and that they understand the content given.
