I work on call with FEMA to respond to disasters across the country. My role is to utilize the Logistics Supply Chain Management System to track and order necessary supplies for disaster response.Deployments FEMA Region VI - Baton Rouge, LA - DR-4559-LA ● Promoted to Lead LSCMS in order to coordinate the movement of commodities throughout the response and recovery of Hurricane Laura.● Through the SharePoint site, I have been able to organize and identify necessary documentation such as the 783 packing slips guaranteeing transferring of commodities to state ownership.● Completed customer orders to request surplus supplies from disasters following closeout. ● Tracked orders by contacting designated transportation company to inquire about estimated time of arrival.● Beyond gathering information from the field within the reports I compile, I ensure my analysis contains a discussion about the meaning of the numbers. This allows leadership to find and understand the data easily and in a timely manner. FEMA Region IX – Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands – DR-4404-MP ● Member of the generator mission in partnership with the United States Army Corps of Engineers. ● Created Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI) reports to show collected data on a GIS map.● Performed routine daily tasks to track deployment of 143 generators utilized on Saipan and Tinian.● Located generators in the field by using MapVision in LSCMS to ping transponders attached.● Received in 12 containers shipped via barge into the Port of Saipan with various commodities.● Ensured each generator was processed out in a timely fashion with special attention given to time sensitive and emergency requests.
