I help to create a safe environment that is conducive to student learning and exploration. At the Early Childhood Center I have gotten to work with children ages 2-4. They are encouraged to learn through play, with a few structured activity tables. I have experience both running the structured activities, and interacting with the students as they learn through play.

During my time student teaching I was responsible for lesson planning and facilitation for a class of first graders. I worked with Engage NY math and skills modules, Listening and Learning, Project Lead The Way, and Daily 5 curriculum. I engaged with families and the community through the creation of the weekly newsletter and daily Bloomz posts.

Casco, Maine

I lived in cabin with the camp's youngest campers, ages 8-10. I was responsible for their physical, emotional, and social well-being. I was also a member of the camp's theater staff. I costumed two productions of Peter Pan and High School Musical, as well as taught improv classes.

Wilton, Ct

I worked one on one with campers with special needs. I helped them participate in as much of the camp day and scheduled group activities as was appropriate. I encouraged campers to interact with their groups and helped them create positive social relationships with their peers. I was also responsible for their physical safety and well-being.

Greater New York City Area

I helped facilitate student and family performances and events, including a relaxed performance for students with disabilities. I worked on the creation of pamphlets for schools to choose which events to attend, and reviewed teacher feedback on the programming.
