I have worked with three professional jobs throughout my lifetime. In Charlotte, North Carolina, I had my first job as a professional carpenter working for Empire Communities, a construction business. I gained leadership abilities while assisting with the training of numerous new employees. My second job was in the food business, and it was at a custard shop called Andy's in Waxhaw, North Carolina. I learned how to solve problems while managing numerous instances of running out of custard and having to deal with upset customers throughout my four months of employment. I also improved my communication skills while working at the front desk and interacting with a variety of clients. My most recent position was in Boone, North Carolina, with a marketing team for US buildings. Working on the daily social media updates for several companies has helped me develop my social media skills. I have a background in financial software, and I passed the Microsoft Office Specialist exam to become certified in Excel. I progressed my development in my leadership, problem-solving, time-management, and communication abilities while attending Appalachian State University. I have talked to multiple professors and guest speakers that has allowed me to create a more professional basis.
