• Extracted emotional cues from speech samples using several spectral feature extraction methods from the librosa library (MFCC, mel, chroma)and using these emotion vectors and various classification algorithm (DT, SVM, MLP and CNN ) performed a comparative study on their performances.• Replicated the result of an open source emotional conversion software DAVID (Da Amazing Voice Inflection Device) using various speeches as input varying from real conversation, music sample, TTS outputs etc.• Did a literature review work discussing the basic techniques used in a general Speech Recognition Systems namely Mel frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC) and feature classification techniques Hidden Markov models (HMM) & Dynamic Time Wraping (DTW). Also covered certain emotional transformation techniques that convert an emotion neutral speech into a given emotion and vice-versa.

Summer of Code @ IIT Kanpur• Implemented a dynamic and interactive web application - Medhelp from scratch as an initiaive to improve the medical system by keeping trackof records of patients and their history.• Implemented various functionalities like doctor could add a patient, update its records, refer it to another doctor, etc. and patient could searchfor doctors and the labs in his area.• Developed a question-answer platform for the medical system which had the functionality to filter the questions based on illness, search ques-tions based on keywords, notifications for patients if their questions get answered, etc.
