Security Officer
Current• Conducts preliminary investigations of incidents occurring during assigned shifts and request assistance from Corporate Security management as deemed appropriate. • Conduct regular and on-going security related training for contract security personnel security policy, procedure, processes, and security equipment.• Coordinates, monitors, manages and supervises contract security operations for the PAR campus, off-property warehouse, and Research Park facility to ensure the security of PAR’s assets.• Establishes shift priorities of contract security personnel and equipment to accomplish goals. • Ensures shift functions and services are executed in an efficient and competent manner while providing maximum guidance and support to contract security personnel. • Ensures contracted security officers are inspected prior to shift to ensure that cGMP, uniform, and general appearance standards are met.• Responsible for identifying development needs for contract security personnel and implementing programs to ensure effective and consistent improvement. • Supervises security processes at the Main Gate to ensure access control policies and procedures for all personnel (employees, visitors, contractors, regulatory personnel, etc.) are executed appropriately. • Review and audit contract security post orders to ensure they’re executed consistently and accurately. .• Write and submit end of shift reports and incident reports as needed.• May be the first point of contact between PAR and outside law enforcement and/or regulatory agencies who visit PAR. • Routinely audit electronic security systems to ensure they all function properly, and report malfunctions for expeditious repairs.
