I self-taught myself guitar and have been continuously writing and singing since I was thirteen. I was born in Nashville, TN and raised about an hour from the city in a small town where the country influenced my music and how I wrote my music. I pride myself in being able to do more than Country and exploring different genres. I taught my eldest son to play guitar and bass, my middle son to play drums, guitar, and bass, while also teaching my youngest daughter how to play the piano. Music is a family connection for us as well.
