I walked down systems and created punchlists of incomplete items. I ran a crew that completed conduit, pulled in cable, terminated and tested cables. I troubleshot systems that were not reacting as programmed or expected.

worked on crews installing conduit and equipment for heat trace systems. Tested cables and terminated them. Installed power and instrumentation cables in power and control panels. Installed and terminated transformers, power panels, and other associated equipment to run systems. Performed audits of existing systems and percormed neccessary demo and rebuilds in systems. Pushed crews on projects where manpower required additional supervision. Troubleshot systems when circuits were in fault mode or not performing to specs.

I worked on several projects duing this time. I was promoted quickly to General foreman on my first project and returned as a foreman on another project running a cable tray and conduit crew. Became Electrical tech and troubleshooter on that project, completing motor run-ins and other quality control testing. I was then brought in on another project as the LOTO man, maintaining the lockouts of both piping and electrical systems.

I ran a crew of third country nationals and Iraqi electricians. we installed, terminated, and maintained power for lightong and receptacles on 220vac 50Hz system grids. We installed all equipment from transformers to generators, main trunk lines and branch circuits. We troubleshot faulty equipment and responded to critical emergency powrr outtages. I worked graveyard shift a large portion of the time as the only available electrician on duty with two helpers. Another duty was to track drivers and trucks doing routine municipal duties on base. I learned to be autonomous and make decisions without a lot of oversight in critical situations.

I was trained on and operated various production lines on fhe finishing side of our plant. I worked the Blending Solution, Coagulation, Drying, and Baling positions. I worked as a blend solution operator in the acid area. I was one of several vacation relief operators who had to cover any position on a moments notice. We ran a continuous blend system. We were called upon to unplug tanks and dryers as well as conveyor systems. We worked beside maintainence crews to get our systems back on line. I was a shift safety man for our shift giving toolbox safety meetings and maintaining records. We maintained QC paperwork for hourly readings to ensure consistent operations and quality products.

I have experience in pipefitting(6 years), process operations(6 years). I have exoerience loading and unloading railcars, tractor trailers(box and tankers), drums and silo bags. I have ran batch and continuos blend systems. I have worked in chemical plants, refineries and woodmills. I have always tried to give an honest days work for an honest days pay. I like fixing systems that are incorrectly operating and assisting in the demo and reconstruction of systems. I seem to be the guy people ask for recommendations and repair ideas. I enjoy a mystery and take great pride in being able to say,"That system you needed is running."
