• Review applications for insurance coverage, reporting from loss control consultants and other information to determine if application is acceptable for the available client program(s).• Evaluate and determine policy cancellation or reinstatement, modification of coverage form or limit within client and company guidelines.• Receive and handle calls regarding bind requests, endorsement requests, cancellations, reinstatements, inspections, missing information and quote submission for acceptability and process.• Review 4-point, exterior and wind mitigation inspections according to procedures.• Evaluate the experience of a risk against the class of business under review.

Order any missing reports prior to underwrite review • Responsible for timely and accurate creation of underwriting cancellation and non-renewal notices adhering to all state regulations associated with this function • Verify data through various internal and external systems including: Lexis Nexis, AVC, MSB/RCT Express, Series II and Sedona to ensure accurate policy information to reduce fraud• Perform underwriting analysis such as: credit checks, out of state license validation, deferred operator list and other assigned special projects to eliminate policy errors• Enroll in courses for CPCU designation through Insurance Library
