DeWayne Walker is a Supervising Multi-line Claims Examiner/Senior Adjuster & Account/Vendor Manager residing in the Denver, CO Metro. My current role with Western Guaranty Fund Services, a non-profit who administers multi-state guaranty associations providing ongoing claims administration for insolvent carriers, is as a Senior Multi-Line Claims Examiner. I am responsible for the investigation, adjustment and resolution of assigned multi-line claims. I previously served as a Supervising Multi-line Claims Examiner & Account/Vendor Manager for FCC Services where I supervised multi-line claims adjusters and administrative staff with a focus on Multi-Line Captive Claims and Public Entity Workers' Compensation Claims Administration. My claims experiences consist of acting as a liaison for state compliance audits, developing and presenting Response for Proposal bids to new clients, sustaining client contract renewals, developing and delivering individual client stewardship reports, and, managing client and vendor relationships, while administering an active caseload of high level multi-line claims.I am well versed in carrier, captive and third party administrator multi-line claims, developing strategies and proactively progressing their status towards outcome. I have extensive experience in claims administration services for public entity (city, county and state) as well as private sector clients. I have been in the insurance industry for approximately 25 years; working for national carriers, third party administrators and non-profits as both a claims examiner and a claims supervisor. In that time I have provided oversight and administered national multi-state claims for Workers’ Compensation, Auto Property Damage & Bodily Injury Liability, Owned Property, Lender’s Single Interest, Med Pay, Pollution, Construction Defect and General Liability. Prior to working in the insurance industry, I proudly served and honorably discharged from active duty in the United States Army as a Field Artilleryman, after which, I used my G.I. Bill to attend and graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Marketing. I currently hold active a Texas Multi-Line Adjuster License and a Montana Workers' Compensation Certified Adjuster License.
