Current● Develop and maintain effective partnerships with 24 MD public school districts as well as multiple community organizations and business through strategic leadership and oversight.● Oversee and supervise organizational management staff of Maryland Center for Computing Education, leading outreach and pipeline development agenda, eliminating access and success gaps for under-represented groups.● Represent USM’s Academic Affairs and Student Affairs on various state and national boards, advisory committees, community action committees, and policy organizations.● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policy, laws, codes, regulations, and pending legislation related to educator recruitment and preparation. Works with stakeholders, including Maryland’s university deans to improve programs, functions and procedures and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.● Collaborate with national and state teams, setting, designing, and implementing strategic direction for mathematics teaching as well as academic program and student learning outcome assessments.● Develop and maintain $10M+ across multiple financial budgets and budget reports, conducting research and landscape analyses to recommend growth and expansion opportunities for academic degree and certificate programs.● Cultivate relationships with diverse community groups, supporting inclusivity by aligning with organizations such as Black Girls Code and Girls Who Code.
