Hi, I'm Dewey Steffen. I have over 30 years of investment management experience and founded Great Lakes Wealth on July 1, 2016. At Great Lakes Wealth, I serve as CEO & Chief Investment Officer and my main areas of focus include global financial management and comprehensive wealth management for the firm's clients, where I advocate using both strategic and tactical investment techniques to potentially enhance returns and reduce risk. I am privileged to be in a position to help clients pursue their financial goals and achieve financial independence. At GLW, we do so by utilizing our communication skills to first listen closely to the needs and concerns of our clients and then deliver advice in a straightforward and easy-to-understand manner.At Great Lakes Wealth, I am the chairman of the Investment Policy and Investment Selection Committee. I hold Series 7, 65, 63 and 52 securities licenses, and am licensed in life insurance, accident and health insurance, and variable contracts.Prior to establishing Great Lakes Wealth, I served as a Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager and Vice President - Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services and earned an associate’s degree in business from Schoolcraft College and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan. I’m currently a trustee of Corewell Health, member of SCF’s planned giving committee, and an active member of the Detroit Athletic Club and Walnut Creek Country Club. Previously, I was a board member and finance committee chair of the Schoolcraft College Foundation, past board member of the Fanclub Arts Foundation, and committee chair of Pack 45 of the Boy Scouts of America. (and former boy scout, too!) I was raised in Birmingham, Michigan. I currently reside in Farmington with my three beautiful children – Jackson, James and Jillian. In my free time, I enjoy staying active by taking part in golf, basketball, racquet sports, bowling, and participating in my children’s many activities.I'd love to connect with you!
