Joining the TPS Assistant Academy as the photography assistant. This program consists of five sequential learning modules, each focusing on essential aspects of studio work: Backstage, Lighting, Staging, Studio, and Camera. 1. As a Backstage Assistant, I gained invaluable insight into the language, culture, and expectations of the studio environment, transitioning smoothly from a student to a professional role. I developed strong client-focused professionalism, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate efficiently with team members.2. In the Lighting and Staging phase, I acquired a comprehensive understanding of lighting gear and studio setups. This prepared me to support photographers and contribute to visually compelling images. I also learned how to assist on set, ensuring that all lighting and staging requirements were met for each shoot.3. As a Camera & Digital Assistant, I served as a bridge between the photographer and the crew, facilitating seamless communication and a smooth workflow. I developed an in-depth understanding of camera operations and data management, essential for both photographers and studio managers. I applied my skills to real shoots and initiated my test shoots under the mentorship of experienced photographers.Through hands-on experience and professional development, I honed real-world skills in visual storytelling, team collaboration, and creative direction, laying the foundation for my future in the creative industry.
