About Dewitt Henry

Henry is an award winning memoirist, novelist, essayist, and poet whose most recent book is RESTLESS FOR WORDS: POEMS (Finishing Line Press, 2023). He is a Professor Emeritus at Emerson College. He co-founded and directed PLOUGHSHARES for its first twenty years and continues as a trustee; he has also published an award winning novel THE MARRIAGE OF ANNA MAYE POTTS, a trilogy of memoirs, and edited anthologies, such as SORROW'S COMPANY: WRITERS ON LOSS AND GRIEF. He regularly reviews memoirs, literary biographies, and fiction.
