CurrentThe Director of Business Development and Sales is responsible for conducting strategic planning to develop future business opportunities and promote sales growth while ensuring customer service and resolving problems for current partners and clients. -Manages and directs the execution of sales plans and initiatives. -Establishes sales targets to meet company objectives. -Partners with the management team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to company customers. - Develops annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives. - Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices. - Ensures communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with the Director of Marketing. - Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis. - Implements approved distribution strategies. - Manages multiple channel selling strategies. - Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives. - Oversees the planning for business development and sales events such as conferences, vendor events, etc. - Evaluates operational issues to determine where the company should engage for business expansion and growth opportunities. - Develops an evaluation process to gain feedback from clients and customers.
