LifeSaver produces point-of-sale software for custom framing, including pricing, production and inventory tracking, payment processing, and data reporting. Their software is used by both independent shops and national art supply chains.Current responsibilities include:◦ Database design and maintenance, data management and analysis, and business intelligence reporting.◦ Using SQL Server Management Studio, Integration Services, and Reporting Services to produce ETL processes and reports, perform database maintenance and alterations, and script any needed stored procedures and functions.◦ Converting legacy desktop software reports and features to new web-based software, including developing a process to convert desktop user data from a local system into the cloud database.◦ Brainstorm and develop features for enterprise clients.◦ Research and review alternative reporting services (Tableau, PowerBI) to ensure current tools are meeting company and client needs at adequate costs.◦ Server upgrades and migrations, the most recent of which was moving our server resources to Azure.Past responsibilities:◦ Quality assurance testing for web-based software, including scripting automated tests for web services and UI.
