Led R&D team in developing stack materials for STRAM and RRAM technologies.Developed electrical and magnetic test systems for both STRAM and RRAM at wafer level.Demonstrated several reader stack innovations and applied in recording head products using Anelva multi-module sputtering tools.

Secured several grants/contracts from concept, proposal, planning, execution, and delivery/conclusion on magnetic devices using GMR, TMR and other magnetic materials. Key dirver in process integration of GMR/TMR into backend interconnect as well as frontend IC substrates for prototypes. Set world record of TMR in 2003 using a non state-of-the-art stack tool.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Lead team in developing GMR and TMR stacks and associated fabrication process for magnetic sensors and MRAM projects, several of which transferred to production. Provided 3 shifts for all AMR, GMR, and MTJ materials for both production units and contracts R&D projects.
