As the Community Manager of Workhouse, I've had the opportunity to play many different roles in the growth of our Coworking space.Primarily my job focuses on these three aspects:1. Building a Cohesive Community- Fostered strong relationships with and amongst residents- Organised many Community Engagement Events (Ice Cream Days, BBQs, Sushi Roll Breaks)- Helped facilitate collaborations between members 2. Planning, coordinating and executing Events at Workhouse- Organised marketing events for our resident companies (Defining the Gentleman for our largest tenant, Edit Suits Co.)- Planned Workhouse’s first #SpeakEasySG Networking event and secured Airbnb’s APAC Managing Director, Chia Jia Jih as the key speaker- Promoted Workhouse as a versatile event space for parties, corporate events and workshops- Some events I have helped coordinate : DrinkEntrepreneurs Networking, Art Therapy, Balm Kitchen, Watercolor and Calligraphy Workshops, Runway Bandits Photoshoot, Night Owl Cinematics Video Shoots and many private events3. Social Media Marketing for Workhouse- In charge of and created content for Workhouse’s Facebook and Instagram accounts- In a short 3 months, increased Facebook likes by over 15% and Instagram followers by over 40%- Helped brand Workhouse as not just a coworking space but a lifestyle hub

Working in the marketing department of Swire Pacific Offshore, I learnt how to interact with clients and assisted in ensuring whatever they needed was ready and provided for. They showed me how important strong teamwork is in ensuring success in how they assisted each other across departments in their daily work.
