Position Summary: Manage the production of products to satisfy customer demand on-time and within the cost, quality, and safety parameters. Apply lean techniques. Provide leadership and manage resources in a manufacturing environment with made-to-order, low volume, high complexity products.Essential Duties:1. Manages the production operation, including multiple shifts, and ensure that all employees are focused on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and budget.2. Constantly reviews production data and communicates feedback and/or changes directly to supervision and the production floor, and manufacturing engineering in order to prioritize projects, control costs, and maintain high quality standards.3. Develop and maintain an effective and involved workforce through leadership by example, education, communication and policies that support diversity, safety, and team effectiveness.4. Measure production performance, cost reductions, efficiency, and waste elimination and compares these metrics against targets.5. Drive continuous improvements, organizational strategies, and maintain a positive culture on the production floor.6. Identify opportunities for immediate and long-term processes and equipment enhancements and be able to implement those improvements within cost and performance targets.7. Drives and manages the development of new or enhanced equipment or processes that improves quality, productivity and costs. 8. Other duties as assigned.

Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading the continuous improvement processes and projects for manufacturing.
