Oversee the operations, administration, human resources and financial management of the 1,900 member-investor, chamber organization and perform other administrative duties.• Created and managed the Chamber’s strategic plan by implementing new processes and approaches to achieve Board-directed goals.• Oversee and manage $2.1M of total assets to ensure efficient operations and utilization of office space and equipment.• Maintain the fiscal health and sustainability of the organization by developing a $3.8M to $4.7M total combined budget that will achieve the strategic goals of each Chamber entity (Chamber, Economic Development, International Affairs & Sister Cities, Education Foundation and Community Development Foundation).• Review, analyze and present financial reports monthly for the President and CEO, Chamber Treasurer, Finance Committee, Executive Committee and Board of Directors.• Appointed as Corporate Secretary, overseeing board engagement and governance for a 52-person Board of Directors.• Serve as staff liaison or provide support to leadership for 47% of Chamber committees, task forces and foundations. • Develop messaging for President and CEO, Board Chair, and Committee Chairs to support unified communications and consistent branding.• Lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives, which included the launch of a virtual programming series to cultivate candid conversation around race and equity in a variety of landscapes.• Convened 11 organizations across North Texas to collaboratively engage nearly 20,000 businesses to improve workforce training curriculum and access to employer educational benefits. • Manage and oversee the human resource, operations and administrative functions for a staff of 15, cultivating a supportive and inclusive environment for both full-time and part-time employees.

Direct and oversee the organization’s One Irving – Making the Grade capital campaign, education and workforce development efforts, intelligence, data and technology.• Provided oversight for a $3.1 million programmatic capital campaign entitled One Irving, which provided learning opportunities for hundreds of students across Irving in areas of AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) and STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology & Math) studies.• Increased the revenue generating potential of the Leadership Irving-Las Colinas leadership development program and oversaw a class of 19 professionals that will be recognized as 2016 graduates.• Reestablished relationships with all three school districts that have schools in Irving (Irving ISD, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD & Coppell ISD) and managed to connect several businesses to schools/districts in order to provide resources to administrators, teachers and students.• Secured the Chamber’s first contract with an IT services firm which has streamlined technology operations, improved technological sustainability and increased network security.

Managed the customer relationship management information system for a 20,000 plus profile database. Constructed reports used for researching and forecasting purposes.• Led an effort of data harvesting and analysis for a project used to understand members’ drivers of engagement in order to form a strategy to retain members and enhance their levels of involvement.• Established and lead a power-users group dedicated to implementing protocols and resolving issues related to the customer relationship management information system (CRM), WebLink.• Created a WebLink training system for incoming staff, which standardized the base level of knowledge for staff and increased employee accountability.• Developed, managed, and grew an internship program to become competitive in the community by forging relationships with surrounding universities. This generated fruitful opportunities for both the students and the Dallas Regional Chamber.• Designed new reports using Crystal Reports, providing staff with the necessary tools to pass the annual audit, meet retention and sponsorship goals, and accurately forecast revenue.• Delivered a presentation at the WebLink International Summit, which allowed the Dallas Regional Chamber to showcase successes and promote innovative ways of using the WebLink software.• Managed a program that recognized the anniversaries of member organizations, which became a valuable touch-point that helped to increase membership renewal percentages.• Led a team to victory during an inter-office, 100-day wellness challenge, improving overall employee health and increasing healthy habits in or out of the office.

Supported the Project Manager with a Fair Housing and Equity Assessment for the Mid-American Regional Council concentrating on the Kansas City MO-KS Metropolitan Area.• Analyzed existing plans and studies in order to aggregate relevant information into a studies matrix, increasing the efficiency for use of existing data.• Drafted a Fair Housing Equity Assessment (FEHA) and Regional Housing Element goal statement for the project team, which defined the team’s purpose and mission.• Submitted a FEHA report and fact sheets on Regionally Concentrated Areas of Poverty (RCAP). This report and accompanying fact sheets enabled stakeholders to understand more about the RCAPs in which they live and proposed strategies to achieve specific goals within those subregions.• Constructed an RCAP Matrix which identified data point commonalities among the different RCAPs.

Volunteered 20 hours weekly at the Chamber. Supported various administrative functions with the Chamber and Economic Development Division.• Created a means for the Chamber to track investor benefits established in trade agreements, providing for a more efficient view of trade deliverables.• Delivered technological support and assistance to the staff, resolving any IT issues that occurred.• Served as the point of contact for outsourced technology focused vendors, allowing staff to focus on administrative duties. • Assisted the Director of IT in implementing ticket-based software, creating an organized and formal system for service requests.

Hosted weekly POWERADE sampling events during intramural games. Coordinated with CBS College Sports Network and the Department of Intramural/Recreational Sports to increase POWERADE brand awareness.• Scheduled and organized multiple sampling events throughout the intramural season, creating brand awareness for POWERADE through peer-to-peer marketing.• Managed the University of Arkansas POWERADE College Intramural Sports website, which resulted in increased brand awareness and website visitations.• Created multi-media promotions using digital photos and streaming videos, which achieved recognition for creativity and branding.• Submitted weekly reports on data obtained at sampling events, critical to the program success.
