• Advise Students on university decisions, which includes creating strategic plans for application procedures and the transition from ALA to university, while analysing student performance and identifying opportunities to improve guidance services. • Attended the International ACAC East Asia Regional Conference in the Republic of South Korea to learn about universities across Asia and generate relationships with universities across the globe as a representative of African Leadership Academy. This resulted in relationships with Yonsei University, Ashoka University and Duke Kunshan University. • Identify scholarship opportunities for students and deliver interview preparation with partners, as well as edit teacher recommendation letters and write counselor recommendations on behalf of students after extensive interviews.

• Tutored two courses at UCT in the English and Fine Arts Departments, which included facilitating class discussions with approximately twenty-five students each semester, as well as consulted students on an individual basis and assessed coursework.• Collaborated with professors and administrative staff to ensure a rewarding academic experience for students.• Designed and taught a second-year seminar course in the English Department, titled “Re-Imagining Diaspora: African Diasporic Narratives of Belonging”.

• Planned and implemented International Student Orientation for new international students, and continued support for the adjustment of new international students, including direct mentoring to international students.• Advised students on social wellbeing and academic difficulties in collaboration with Class Dean and Academic Advisors, as well as managed student leaders.• Designed and orchestrated a variety of programs and services for international students including educational, social, and wellness programs.

Worked as the budget coordinator on the Leadership Education and Development Conference; drafted both a working and projected budget for all aspects of the conference. Coordinated publicity through liaising with student groups, faculty and the athletics department, as well as managed the publication and distribution of posters.
