At DreamRain, I designed and implemented a native, scalable infrastructure for our games, known as the Dream Network. This robust platform supports multiple controllers and workers, functioning as a distributed cloud gaming platform.Capable of handling hundreds of thousands of concurrent users, the Dream Network facilitates seamless communication and packet transmission between players. I also developed a custom RUDP protocol specifically designed for use on lossy networks.The Dream Network employs native TCP and WebSocket Secure for reliable communications, as well as Enet and KCP for unreliable communications. After encountering challenges with FCM, I created our proprietary notification system – DreamNetwork Notification (DNN) – to better serve our users.

As the concurrent user base of our games expanded, it became apparent that DreamNetwork required its own dedicated infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and maintenance. In response, I developed an environment on our dedicated servers using vSphere for project management.Leveraging the power of Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker, I successfully streamlined the deployment and management of our gaming infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and scalability for DreamNetwork as we continue to grow.

After finalizing the development of Dream Network and initiating the testing phase, I focused on enhancing the online component of HokmLazem. To accomplish this, I developed a Unity Engine plugin, which facilitated seamless communication between the game and DreamNetwork controllers via a load balancer.Furthermore, I engineered an efficient pipeline UI event system to manage and enqueue events from Dream Network. This strategic implementation streamlined the integration process and significantly improved the overall user experience in the game.
