Implementation services involved planning, installing and configuration of SAN solutions according to Best Practices. As principal, I was responsible to take leads, size and scope the projects, provide quotes, and create the necessary documentation such as scope of work and documents of understanding (DOU) to generate an agreement. After the contract was signed, I would negotiate the scheduling and find perform resources whose skills aligned with those necessary to complete the contracted engagement. In 2002, I was a member of the team that assisted with writing the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Level 3 Certification tests and was recognized by SNIA as a subject matter expert.
