After greatly improving the code quality of various Java and JavaScript code bases, I was earmarked for a role in guiding teams through particularly difficult front-end transitions. Aside from my usual work maintaining my assigned code bases, I am regularly dispatched to other teams tasked with setting up new front-end services or integrations as an in-house expert. Notable achievements- Single-handedly authored v1 of Angi’s Next.js web messaging service, which currently serves tens of thousands of users daily.- Introduced API and E2E test automation suites which decreased time-to-release by several hours per release.- Transformed legacy Vue/Nuxt app serving millions of daily users into efficient, maintainable code base.- Coached teams in React/Next.js/JS/TS best practices.- Primary mentor for team members new to our front-end/micro-service stack.

As Mendix’s first full-time test automation engineer, I was responsible for setting up its first CI/CD test suites. After that, I quickly branched out into front-end React development, and finally team leadership. Notable achievements- Introduced the company’s first Selenium and API testing suites, thereby decreasing time-to-market and increasing quality by an order of magnitude. - Contributed to the release and upkeep of a React-based visual drag-and-drop IDE for Mendix’s proprietary no-code solution. - Coached numerous junior and medior developers through both technical and professional difficulties.- Founded and oversaw a test guild to promote knowledge sharing between testers distributed over a broad range of development teams.
