Cyber Security Engineer. Roles & Responsibilities:Assessing the security posture of OT systems, networks, and devices to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses that could be exploited by malicious actors.Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope and objectives of penetration tests on OT environments. This includes understanding the architecture of OT systems, identifying critical assets and infrastructure, and determining the appropriate testing methodologies and tools to be used.Conduct comprehensive assessments of OT networks, devices, and systems to identify potential security vulnerabilities and weaknesses. This involves performing network reconnaissance, analysing system configurations, and identifying common vulnerabilities such as misconfigurations, default credentials, and software flaws.Exploit identified vulnerabilities to simulate real-world cyber-attacks on OT systems. This includes leveraging penetration testing tools and techniques to gain unauthorised access, escalate privileges, and manipulate OT processes and data.Document findings, observations, and recommendations in detailed penetration test reports. This includes describing the methodology used, providing evidence of successful exploits, and offering actionable remediation advice to mitigate identified vulnerabilities. Reports should be tailored to different stakeholders, including technical teams and management.Ensure that penetration testing activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices governing OT security. This includes complying with standards such as IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82, as well as following established policies and procedures for conducting security assessments.Hands on experience as a penetration tester at abroad giving me the opportunities to collaborate with organisations from diverse industries and cultures. Adapting to different cultural norms and working styles during working overseas.
