About Deyri Garcia, Mph

As a current biotech consultant with an interest in bridging the gap between public health and science, I am diversifying my skillset by assessing commercial launch sequences for drug products, integrating pricing and market access into clinical development process, and surveying innovative developing drug product from a scientific and market scope. A proud first-generation college student and Latina from an immigrant household, I became aware of health disparities from a young age. The high prevalence of chronic diseases in my neighborhood and my passion for science led me to 5+ years on laboratory research experience that consisted on independent project ranging from neuroscience, infectious diseases, and most recently chemical composition of vape products. My personal interest in uplifting immigrant, minority, and vulnerable communities through health, led me to consulting projects at clinics, health organizations, and finally biotech, where I found a passion for learning and developing new products and processes.Throughout my education and career I have been fortunate to have had amazing mentors, and am a strong advocate of mentorship and community building.
