Experienced sports broadcast professional.Juggling several varied Sports Media contracts in Digital Content, commentary and Presentation. Most recently contracted to assist FIFA upgrade their Digital Offering with a role to liaise with Asian Member Associations (Football Associations) in creating and sharing suitable content.Via Sports Centred Media Services I have a passion for local football (and sport), and have gained a strong reputation for LIVE commentary in Football, Road Racing (bikes), e-Sports and multi-Sport events (Asian games, SEA Games etc). In addition, I have been lucky enough to be an Internationally recognised sports commentator from sports ranging from not only football, but also hockey, basketball, sepaktakraw, motor bike road-racing, tennis, cricket, athletics, diving, short-course swimming, badminton, Rugby Sevens, ice hockey, as well as multi sport event experience at Olympics, Asian Games and SEA Games.Also known in SE Asia as a Commercial voice over Talent, On Air Talent, opinionated Podcast and TV contributor, and columnist.Particular proven background in content creation for multiple platforms and starting and developing young teams and implementing succession plans.Background at BBC Wales and IMG Media in UK, before spending 10 years in Singapore with ESPN STAR Sports setting up and managing a Sports News team (SportsCenter brand) and Digital Media offering (online and mobile). Moved to Astro in KL and established and managed a Malay language sports News team (Nadi Arena brand), Magazine team creating 600 hours of Original Content, New Media team (online and social media) and the first Malay language sports radio station. Succession plans implemented in all roles.Recently concluded a 3-year assignment as Head of Broadcast with Malaysian Football league establishing full broadcast coverage (for the first time) via Broadcast and OTT of all top-division matches in the 2018, 2019 and 2020 seasons.
