As a Senior Meeting Specialist at the American Mathematical Society (AMS), I oversee and execute a variety of events and meetings for the largest mathematics organization in the world. I serve as the Exhibits, Sponsorships, and Housing Manager for the Joint Mathematics Meetings. With my people management and analytical skills, I have successfully managed multiple projects, budgets, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring the highest quality and satisfaction for the AMS members and partners.In addition to my role at AMS, I serve as the Event Director for the Annual Pawcatuck River Duck Race at the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce (OCCC). This is the largest charitable fundraising in the two-state region that attracts thousands of participants and sponsors every year. I have been responsible for planning, marketing, organizing, and overseeing the event, as well as leading a team of volunteers. Through my creativity, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, I have helped the OCCC and dozens of schools and nonprofits raise funds and awareness for its mission and vision.
