▪ Oversees all day-to-day operations and all aspects of hospice, and palliative care.▪ Runs and oversees all compliance related activities as the Compliance Officer. ▪ Makes all executive decisions about the direction of the hospice division including new locations.▪ Ensures each location is in compliance with local, state and CMS guidelines. Strongknowledge of COPs, and Medicare requirements.▪ Manages the governing body board meetings, QAPI meetings, and company management team meetings. ▪ Reviews budgets, and P&L statements. Approves hiring budgets, marketing efforts and other various budgets including billing statements. Approves all vendor invoices and payroll for the hospice division. ▪ Works with our Director of Clinical Services to ensure our company is following COPs and that the clinical staff is well managed.▪ Stays up to date on all changes in regulations and compliance. Writes all policies and procedures for both Human Resources and Administrative. ▪ Reviews P&L statements, finances, and approves budgets.▪ In charge of monitoring compliance plan. Including “Mock” audits to ensure compliance and standards are being met.
