About Dave Fagerstrom

I combine a passion for teaching economics with my decades of high-tech business experience to help students understand today's complex business, societal and government problems. Now, five years into my new "rest of my life" profession, I can truly say I embody the saying, "When you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life." As a bonus, teaching feeds my passion for research and life-long learning. Ah! And then there is the income-variable and nomadic life of an Adjunct.Specialties: I help others understand economics. We explore how it applies in business and impacts their daily lives. I thrive on researching current issues. But, I am ever mindful of the double-edged sword of history: how did we get here – and how do we avoid past mistakes? I stretch my skills by teaching across a range of subjects, from College Success Seminar for freshman to Micro and Macro Economics for sophomores, up to Managerial Economics and Fiscal and Monetary Policy for Business for both undergraduate and graduate business students.
