The better part of the last two decades of my work experience are unrelated to my current industry and passion, but are nonetheless a huge part of who I am today as both an employee and a person. For a long time I had no idea what I wanted to do for a living, working diligently in everything from low level business management to banking and insurance, while gaining valuable real world experience.My career has been built on being hardworking and reliable, while being underscored by an infectiously positive personality and outlook on life. I found my passion in photography during an unemployed period in 2008 and have finally found myself in an industry/position that has proven to be a perfect match. Helping to create free, dynamic educational content in the audio/video/photo industry combines my love for educating others with my passion for visual arts. I enjoy all things creative and love embracing challenges in teaching myself new skills. I've found that one's ability to adapt and contribute to a positive team environment far outweighs most resume talking points, and humor is the complimentary spice to professionalism that gels any work environment. Being able to read the room and communicate effectively without Chat GPT is a nice bonus as well.
