At Accusoft, I have been promoted through roles of increased scope and accountability to lead planning and execution of effective test plans to evaluate functionality and performance of web tools used by developers to integrate document editing and viewing in diverse web applications. I also support frontend and backend design, development, testing, and deployment of 4 Node.js products, writing clean code and participating in peer code reviews across an Agile environment. Some of my additional duties and key achievements include:► I leverage Node.js to write and review automated tests, completing product-level, API, integration, and unit tests to ensure functionality and optimal performance.► I manage and track automated testing across projects with code bases greatly varying in size, building comprehensive test approaches and utilizing GitLab CI, Jenkins, and TeamCity pipelines to run tests across products.► I have the opportunity to coach new team members, instructing them on organizational tools, systems, and procedures, and providing additional knowledge on domain, codebase, and pipeline infrastructure.► I recently led a cost-reduction initiative to simplify technical inconsistencies and consolidate services, analyzing data in Jira to build actionable plan, presenting findings to senior leadership, and receiving permission to redirect focus, allocating more resources to fixing infrastructure over feature upgrades.

As a SDET II, I collaborated within high performing teams of 3-10, analyzing business requirements and technical specifications, developing and implementing automated testing plans, test cases, and test scripts for 4 products. A few of my accomplishments include:► Served as Scrum Master for a project, overseeing sprint planning, delegating tasks, prioritizing activities, and facilitating daily scrum meetings.► I improved products by writing product code, identifying areas for improvement during testing and integrating appropriate upgrades, leveraging Gitlab CI’s pipeline tools to test and deploy product changes to Dockerhub.► Identified and resolved intermittent test and product failures to significantly improve pipeline stability.► I assessed user issues and customer product inquiries with our support team, driving the decision making process to determine quick fix or feature request, leading troubleshooting and implementing fixes, proposing workarounds, or recommending value-add feature enhancements.

In this position, I authored unit tests and designed test scenarios that integrated with the GitLab CI pipeline, monitoring test results, completing test analysis, and assisting with comprehensive defect management and bug tracking. Some of my key achievements include:► I piloted bug hunts for multiple, interdepartmental teams of 20-30, managing workflows, locating issues targeting key product features, and managing triage, documentation, and fixes for bugs identified.► I communicated testing status in daily stand-up meetings, providing progress updates, issue resolutions, and current workflows to team to align goals.► I also mentored an intern, delivering coaching and informative feedback that encouraged meaningful contributions to WebdriverIO product level tests.Additional Experience as a Software Development Intern for Accusoft in 2018.
