• As member of the biophysics group within the Biotherapeutics Discovery Department, perform in-depth biophysical analysis of various proteins, including AUC, UPLC/HPLC and DLS. • Fluorescently labeled various proteins and performed AU-FDS experiments in buffer and in serum testing antigen/antibody complex formation and size. • Possess a fundamental understanding of protein structure function relationship.• Drove high priority enzyme kinetic study involving the development of enzymatic assays to test kinetics of a target enzyme and the antibodies that act as inhibitors.• Used GE AKTA system to purify various antibodies using methods in chromatography.• Enzymatically generated Fab fragments and purified them via chromatography, which were used in various aspects of biotherapeutics research, including crystallography and binding studies. • Receive protein samples made by CROs, analyze them and provide feedback as to whether or not they meet standards; help to determine whether proteins will be used for further research.• Work cross-functionally with other teams to transfer findings to wider distribution; present work to supervisor, groups, departmental meetings.• Adhere to safety and quality regulations/guidelines (SOPs) consistently.
