Responsible for the creation of a new cloud-based (AWS) interoperability ecosystem of healthcare applications and services allowing Philips to build solutions across the breadth of their product offerings including third-party partner offerings. It provides an API-based ecosystem for synchronization for healthcare and device data, standards for interoperability, and shared services (telemedicine, program referrals, device management, etc.)Prior to the Philips acquisition, was responsible for Wellcentive’s flagship Population Health Management product for value based care for over two years. This included budgetary responsibility for $2.5M departmental budget and 30+ member international development team with product revenue of over $20M. Had oversight of all product features and development processes, as well as defining the technical and functional product roadmap. Was also responsible for the preparation and enhancement of the platform for international markets.

Founded and ran a small mobile development company (part-time). Developed a number of mobile applications for sale on the Apple App Store. Domains included games, communication/messaging, and health data/informational applications. Achieved sales of over 20,000 with over 200,000 messages sent over my server platform during operation. Technologies included Swift, Objective C, Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, barcode scanning, Braintree Payment processing.

Responsible for development management and product management for medical speech recognition, business intelligence, and radiology products, as well as all mobile development (iOS/Android). Responsible for product road-mapping, functionality, vision, and UI / UX design. Managed speech recognition provider relationship. Managed database team (Oracle), thick-client development team (C#/.NET), Business Intelligence development of OBIEE-based solution from inception.

Budgetary responsibility for $1M+ Development budget and 10 member development team. Built and led the Java consulting operation for True North Technology, driving solutions revolving around Sun Identity/Access Management and Portal products. Oversaw the transition from pure consulting to product company with the strategy, vision, product, and development management of our remote-access solution. This solution provided hosted remote desktops, cloud-based enterprise software, and other remote-access solutions.

Brought on to CoreHarbor, an Ariba consulting & implementation provider, to develop their consulting and implementation capability in the (Java based) BlueMartini B2B e-Commerce framework. Successfully led and mentored the development team through their initial customer implementation, an e-Commerce solution for a large HVAC consulting and support organization. Included advanced search, cross-sell/up-sell, payment options, and content management capabilities.
