Invited speaker at various international conferences as re-known expert in mucosal vaccine development and glyco-engineering.As an expert in plant biotechnology, I advised Canadian, Dutch, German & Belgian governmental and semi-governmental organisations on funding request (technical/content & business aspects).

As inventor of a technology to develop multivalent vaccines for mucosal applications, I founded the biotechnology spin-off THERAPOS BV which intended to develop needle-free vaccines that can be applied for example orally or intranasally through inhalation. As CSO I was responsible for protecting/patenting developments, developing business plan, investor pitches, acquisition finances. As inventor of oral vaccines for fish, I intended to develop oral in-feed vaccine formulations for fish within a dedicated spin-off company THERAQUA. Both technologies are protected through several patent applications and granted patents.
