I also works with clients to resolve construction, lien, real estate title defense, surety bond, employment, and collection disputes before litigation becomes necessary.When a resolution cannot be found, I have extensive experience prosecuting and defending mechanics lien, surety, construction, judgment and debt collection, tort, aviation, and workers compensation actions. I represent clients in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, in addition to arbitration and mediation proceedings.I also concentrate my practice in litigation with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense, representing physicians, nurses, and hospitals in complex litigation. I have experience in all stages of the litigation process, from depositions to motion practice and trials. I aggressively and diligently advocates on behalf of his clients. A short list of representative cases include:* The dismissal of a $1.2 Million Mechanics Lien Complaint against his client's property and the award of attorneys'​ fees against the claimant on behalf of his client;* Obtained $4 Million and $300,000 judgments against bond principals on behalf of his Surety clients.* At trial, obtained full judgment and attorneys' fees against an obstinate property owner on behalf of a materials provider client in a Mechanics Lien dispute.

For almost seven years I wrote the popular (unofficial) University of Michigan sports blog, Maize n Brew. During that time I covered everything related to the University of Michigan's various sports teams. In addition, the site covered beer, tailgating and the absurdity of college sports in general. After seven years I hung it up because, as a friend once wrote in his good-bye piece in the Ann Arbor News, "There's only so long you can ask 18-22 year old athletes the same six questions." That said, I did get to interview players and coaches, write about the school I love, and make a lot of friends along the way.
