Sandra worked as the interior designer, stylist and visual merchandiser for Corso De Fiori in Wellington, where she gained an excellent reputation in the Wellington region and throughout New Zealand. During her time there, Sandra developed the in-house interior design and styling service and was involved in a range of small styling jobs and large interior design projects. Her responsibilities included assisting in the visual merchandising of the Citta Design Store at Kirkcaldie and Stains in Wellington, as well as sourcing additional merchandise and custom-made furniture for both clients and the store. When access to the premises was an issue, Sandra created the interior design plan entirely off-site by interpreting and visualising photographs and floor plans. As a freelance designer, Sandra had the pleasure of working on many different scale projects including interior design & home styling projects, styling presentations and event styling. Services included:Colour advice, soft furnishings, window treatment, spatial planning, design direction, mood boards, furniture placement & home styling, sourcing of furniture and object d' art.

Working as a part of a small team, Sandra was involved in making and aging props for a variety of characters and scenes, in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Props included banners, flags, cushions, tents, bags in different sizes, fireworks, saddle blankets, etc. Sandra worked many long hours and showcased her ability to produce amazing props using challenging materials, whilst under time pressure.
