I’m happy to share that I’ve started a new position as Biomedical Engineer at HonorHealth!

As a Molecular Technologist at Sonora Quest Laboratories, I was brought on during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic to address the urgent need for testing. My role primarily focused on conducting PCR testing of 30k-40k samples nightly while maintaining a stringent 48-hour turnaround time. In addition to PCR testing, I also perform other essential tests vital for patient diagnosis and care.I take pride in my ability to establish effective communication channels across team members, other departments, and partnered facilities. This ensured seamless coordination to meet the needs of healthcare professionals and clients, ultimately delivering quality patient care. It's worth noting that the laboratory I work in is CLIA/CAP accredited, reflecting our commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Assistant of bioinformatic projects regarding the reproduction cycle of various Daphnia pulex and pulicaria alike. Facilitated growth, reproduction, selection, and extraction of DNA & RNA for academic projects regarding intricacies of the different variations within specifies for scientific research published.

Worked dynamically part-time to full time depending on work needs in coordination with academic responsibilities. Responsible for fulfilling customer purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment on a regular basis for company quota. In addition, tracking and logging all product inventory entering and leaving the facility ensuring no discrepancies.

Assessed calculus modules and helped with the development of the calculus learning platform Gradarius™

Worked in a cross-functional team to design and create a rehabilitation device to help stroke patients regain functional movement in a cost-effective home treatment manner. Collaborating with students from the universities of Arizona State, Kings College, and New South Wales a functional product and design was presented along with new startup to industry leaders in London, United Kingdom. Demonstrating effectiveness of project-based engineering learning and patent in progress with TEDI London.ASUio semi-finalists from over 400 ventures.

Tutoring children in subjects of math, reading, and writing; developing custom lesson plans based on student’s benchmark accomplishments, incorporating elements of STEM to enhance learning. Notably, honored as Tutor of the Month for July 2018.
