I am pursuing a career in long-term healthcare administration. As a CNA in assisted living, post-acute care, and the long-term care settings, I have had priceless experience administering direct patient care to a wide variety of patients and residents. As a Business Administration: Marketing and Supply Chain Management graduate, I have learned how to assess customer demand and fulfill the customers' needs--while exceeding their wants. As an Administrator-In-Training, I combined my skills and education, with hands-on, on-the-job training in all of the operational roles of the long-term care setting. As an Administrator, I have been able to utilize all of my knowledge and experience gained over my tenure in healthcare to care in a better way, day by day through continual learning and cycles of improvement. As an Administrator, I have realized the results of my education and experience through our Census--by tripling our Private Pay in less than one year. This is the result of an intentional focus to make our Patients successful, whatever that may look like. In closing, I am an Administrator because I care…I care about the care.
