Researching medical imaging instrumentation. Specifically, working on a prototype high resolution Position Emission Tomography (PET) imaging system for the detection of breast cancer, advised by Dr. Craig Levin. My work has focused on software for control, calibration, and control of the system, and PET systems in general. My dissertation is linked below.

* Developed a hardware agnostic testing platform and format in C# and XML to automate 300+ tests against hardware specifications* Built a hardware viewing application for real-time control and debugging of hardware under development* Identified communication bottlenecks and firmware and hardware bugs and worked with FPGA developers and board designers to specify work arounds* Led training sessions on developed software and provided documentation that enabled team members to independently develop new hardware tests

Developed tools to estimate project costs for a variety of Instrument & Control System platforms based on early project specifications.

Drafted electrical designs for new construction and renovations in commercial, industrial, and aviation sectors.
