Field Marketing Representative

• Partners with independent agents to drive new business while improving retention and profitability.• Develops a territory/state marketing plan designed to drive the highest possible increase in net sales and conducts regular reviews with agents to monitor any variances. Develops plans to improve negative variances• Trains and inspires individual producers and CSRs on the suite of products and systems required to quote and sell policies. Provides continuing education to assigned agents regarding company products, programs, product line news / issues, eligibility guidelines, risk and pricing philosophy.• Sets agency appointments/visits and complete weekly call reports • Maintains current working knowledge of all new product offerings in territory or• Appoint new agencies within assigned territory.• Is comfortable having difficult conversation with non-producing agents. Keeps all agent records, files, and requirements for assigned territory or state, including current and terminated agents.• Acts as liaison between carrier and the agent when customer service issues arise.• May prepare reports to analyze and develop existing business profile / mix and the quality and quantity of new business.• Responsible for achieving premium development and retention / persistency goals.• May assist with coordinating / transferring books of business and ongoing contract management.• Maintains familiarity with competitors and market conditions. May be required to gather, analyze and maintain competitive information. • Attends industry and association events.• Performs other duties as assigned.
