As the Vice President of IT Services I am primarily responsible for the executive oversight, management and delivery of all CCB Technology’s service offerings. This consists of both the Professional and Managed Services offerings within the organization. While the primary focus of my position is to oversee the Services Department, I will also tasked with supervising the overall management of the organization’s internal IT infrastructure.

Serving this organization I guide strategy and project work by listening and Leading the executives through these decisions.

Led a team of 8 IT professionals, restructured technology operations improving efficiency, productivity and increasing revenue. ** Began a new technology practice focusing on Technology Leadership. This new line of business assisted customers by becoming part of their team, listening to issues hindering their business, learning how they do business and leading the organization through organizational change. ** Instrumental in the conception of an addition practice focusing on Security. This Line of Business follows the Center of Excellence model for Information Security as established by NIST (National Institute of Science and Technology).

Working with the Center Executive to create a strategic direction for the West Suburban YMCA and to set short and long term goals. Actively participate at Board meetings and on Committee assignments. Identify potential funding sources and serve as an Ambassador in securing organizational funding. Provide candid and constructive criticism, advice and comments to the Chair or other members of the Board of Directors, and the Center Executive.

In my current position I coach C Level Leaders on technology alignment and organization. Our goal is to assist our clients to move from a reactive mode of operation to very proactive well documented organization.

In this position I was responsible for providing leadership in technology strategic planning, implementation and management of a Global information and communications systems. Architected solutions and ensured that the organizational needs for delivering value to members, operations, marketing, and financial management. Provided strategic and tactical leadership for systems development, telecommunications, and technical services. Provided pro-active leadership in planning, direction and management of the technology function in order to assure alignment with business direction, development and implementation of cost-effective systems, appropriate IT infrastructure and services to meet current and future Society requirements. Architected and delivered a plan to fully migrate the in-house datacenter to a fully redundant global datacenter using multiple vendors. I was responsible for ensuring a service organization culture within the IT Group that is responsive to the needs of customer.

As part of the leadership team our goal was to strengthen the YMCA through the effective and appropriate use of technology, encouraging collaboration among YMCA’s, promoting high standards and best practices, developing strong IT leadership, encouraging alignment of IT with Operations, leveraging new and evolving technologies in pursuit of the YMCA mission while being good stewards of resources.

As a Leader in the Milwaukee YMCA I lead the strategy and direction of the Technology Department. Built high-caliber technology team, and designed a leading edge data center. Provided vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology, compliance and security initiatives, which positioned the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee as a world class organization.

Aviation Electronic Technicians work with some of the most advanced electronics equipment in the world and repair a wide range of aircraft electrical and electronic systems.As a sailor I troubleshot and repaired all of the following complex electronic systems, employing the latest test equipment and procedures: computers, fiber optics, infrared detection, radar systems, electricity generation systems, laser electronics, tactical air navigation systems, high and low frequency communications equipment, electrical power distribution, and pressure indication systems.

Owned and operated a small PC Integration firm while serving in the Navy. Assisted Home users as well as military divisions on the acquistion and development of new PC's.
