Experienced community engagement and urban design professional, collaborating with city and state agencies to bring modern, equitable outreach to important transportation and infrastructure projects. An important part of every project, I am successfully leading public and stakeholder outreach on several transformative projects in New York City. My diverse background in project management, arboriculture, horticulture, wetlands, historic landscapes, marketing and green infrastructure, as well as playground design, brings a greater understanding of the spaces we design and live in.I support HNTB’s technology development group to advance the public involvement management tools we bring to our clients, modernizing community engagement while promoting equity and accessibility. Understanding the inter-agency coordination and approvals necessary to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget, as well as the political complexities associated with projects of all scales, I excel in relationship building and coordination, an integral part of project management. As WTS-GNY Secretary, I collaborate with a hard-working team of volunteers to plan and deliver the WTS-GNY annual vision, and in 2024, was awarded WTS-GNY Member of the Year. At the HNTB New York City Office I have led and participated in several employee development activities including: 2019 and 2024 Bring Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day, 2020 Partnership for NYC Urban Academy of Planning and Engineering for a day of learning for Career Discovery Week, Central Park Breast Cancer Walk, 2022-2023 Woman's Networking Group and assisted with "First Lego League" STEM / ROBOTICS programs. I am very dedicated to the work I do and to my family, fellow co-workers and clients. I believe a 'Thank You' goes a very long way as well as a friendly 'Hello' and a smile.
