With a focus on community engagement and urban design within the transit industry, Desiree has successfully managed a number of multi-agency infrastructure, storm water management and restoration projects. She works to manage community and stakeholder input and expectations on transformative resiliency and transportation projects. She supports HNTB’s technology development group to advance the public involvement management tools we bring to our clients, modernizing community engagement while promoting equity and accessibility. Understanding the inter-agency coordination and approvals necessary to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget, as well as the political complexities associated with projects of all scales, she excels in relationship building and coordination, an integral part of project management. Desiree brings a diverse background in advertising design, urban design and horticulture, wetlands, permitting, complete streets and green infrastructure, as well as playground design.

Responsiblilitities include cost estimates, specifications, and full bid packages, as well as project coordination, budgets, and proposals. Arborist services include tree assessmens, inventory and mitigation. Has experience with EAS, SWPP/ SPEDES, and various agency submittals including LPC and SHPO.

Assisted with customer service, Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) Program, and educational field trips for students and visitors.
