Deepanshu Gupta has a combination of several financial qualifications - Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Registered Valuer - asset class Securities or Financial Assets, Master of Commerce and Masters in Business Administration. He secured 1st rank in North India in the final exams of CMA held by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.His experience spans over 14 years in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Advisory Services and Project Management working with PWC and Deloitte. He has wide-ranging sector experience in – Manufacturing, Engineering, Automobile, IT/ITES/BPO, Real Estate, Investment Management, Mining among others. He has exposure to working in a global environment for clients at ‘onshore’ and ‘offshore’ locations and handling large teams. He has led several large listed and unlisted companies audit engagements in a multi-GAAP environment and is knowledgeable in Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP. As part of this role, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience in various aspects of financial reporting, financial analytical processes, closing processes, exposure to day to day business processes, control environment, technical accounting matters under both Indian GAAP and IFRS, stakeholder management including auditors, project management and experience of leading large teams on such projects. Deepanshu deals in international and domestic taxation issues of the clients. He handles all the issues related to direct taxes including planning for corporate, non-resident Indians and issues arising in cross border transactions with special reference to Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements. Deepanshu is passionate about sharing knowledge. He is a regular speaker at various forums like ICAI, ICMAI, CA Study Circles, ACCA, CII, and at Corporates. Deepanshu also has a keen interest in the area of soft skills and self-development. He has conducted various sessions on Critical Thinking, Time Management, Storytelling for corporates and Motivation for students.Deepanshu believes in developing a meaningful long-term relationship with Companies or individuals. He prefers to work in long-term partnership with the clients rather than just in consultant relationship.
