Since 2012 this Carrier has sent letters 2 times stating that the Company has sent a Request to NYS Dept.of Finance-asking for this to happen.Both times,the rates increased.The last week of 2015 I got another letter stating that this Carrier needed to send a Request to NYS Dept.of Finance again;this time for a 62.1% increase .The letter said something about there was on-line a "Plain English Summary of Rate Change" and it gave an email for NYSDFS( which was not a valid email)Feeling extremely frustrated I went to the NYSDFS site and wrote a Complaint....thinking that this would make me feel better.......it did not. So,I posted on my FaceBook page about my experience. Daniel is someone who i have known through the Chamber of Commerce and we were in a Referral Group. He posted that if i wished I could call him,because he was helping people sign up for Supplimental Plans ....I called him and he was very clear with what my options were,and when I ended this conversation,I knew i needed to change my Supplemental Plan to another Company and I felt good and clear about this. We made an appointment to meet for Coffee and Daniel was so clear about what I needed to bring and it was an easy change. I think if anyone is having issues with their Supplemental Plan that it is OK to look at your options because sometimes things in life change and the way we have things set up need to be changed also.
