In collaboration with Austrian utility VKW, the concept of individual driving-pattern based intelligent smart-charging was further refined to pilot analytics-based optimal use of renewable PV energy for OEM-cloud attached fleet cars.

In collaboration with Swiss utility EKZ, the concept of ubiquitous smart charging was demonstrated with direct telematics access to EVs, reducing dependence on an intelligent stationary charging infrastructure, while offering individual driving-pattern based intelligent smart-charging.

Working with Swiss utility BKW, we piloted in 2011 the attachment of our VPP (virtual power plant) software to warm-water boilers to optimize their recharging as regulation power. This lead to the government sponsored FlexLast project 2012-2013, attaching a large Migros cold warehouse to our IBM optimization software. The project triggered dozens of press.
