My purpose in life is to be the connector between different actors in order to contribute to the creation of a sustainable, equal and peaceful society. I hold a master in building engineering and architecture, and a Engineering Doctorate in Smart Energy Buildings and Cities. Entrepreneurial minded I have worked in the family business, in a building integrated photovoltaic startup, social housing sector, VITO, the leading independent European applied research center located in Belgium acting as a bridge between R&D and Business Development within the department of Smart Energy and Built Environment.After working within Essent (Innogy Group), leading Energy Utility in the Netherlands as Business Project Manager and as a Business Development consultant in ThermoVault, a residential demand response startup based in Belgium and UC Berkley (US).Since July 2019 I joined CRH Innovation Center Europe where I am committed to lower the CO2 impact of construction sector by managing the European Innovation team and the implementation of key technologies.As proud co-founder of the CommUnity by InnoEnergy, I strive to empower the representative teams, support the members and bring more value to the world's ongoing most impactful sustainable energy community.
